Freshmen Davis and Wagner Named to NJCAA All-Region 20 DII Volleyball Team

After a long, hard-fought season, Cecil College is proud to announce that freshmen Lydia Davis and Amanda Wagner were selected to the NJCAA Region 20 DII All-Region Awards list.

Freshman setter/outside Lydia Davis was selected to Second Team All-Region. Lydia had a team high 100 kills for the season and was a key contributor for the Seahawks. Lydia was also second on the team with a total of 105 digs on the season. In addition, she recorded 23 aces for the season which was second on the team.

Freshman setter/outside Amanda Wagner was selected to Honorable Mention All-Region. Amanda led the Seahawks in digs for the season with a total of 117 digs. She was second on the team for the season with 54 kills. Amanda also added 28 aces for the season which was a team high.

Amanda and Lydia played and started in all 13 matches for the season and will be huge contributors for the Seahawks going into next season. They both look to improve on their record and statistics as sophomore members of the Cecil College volleyball team.
