NORTH EAST - Cecil College women's basketball guard Jessie Ware has been named Region 20 Division 2 Player of the Month for November, as announced by region officials on Wednesday. 

Ware helped the Seahawks make history back on November 12, as the program returned to the floor for the first time in over 1,700 days. Cecil went on to defeat Middlesex for its first win since February 22, 2020. Ware finished the contest with a 13-point, 10-assist double-double.

A Virginia Beach, Va. native, Ware averaged 21.3 points, 6.3 assists, and 6.3 steals per contest for the month. She closed out November by dropping a career-high 33 points in a victory over Delaware Tech on November 26. 

Ware and the Seahawks make their return home to face Frederick on Wednesday, December 11 at 5 p.m.
