Cecil Dominates Cougars
BLACKWOOD - Cecil College softball erupted in game two, scoring 22 runs in a shutout victory over Camden County during Wednesday's finale.
The Seahawks 22 runs and 23 RBI are both high marks for 2025 and the program's largest amount since 2017.
Nine Seahawks produced at least one hit and eight chipped one RBI or more. Briana Rebman and Tristan Canavan led with four hits each. The two also combined for 10 RBI, four doubles, and two stolen bases.
Gianna Dougherty showed out from the circle, producing 11 Cougar strikeouts for an easy win. The freshman righty allowed just three hits and moves to 4-1 on the season.
The Seahawks are 7-5 after today's win.
