Cecil Rips Past Lakers

NORTH EAST - Cecil College softball picked up their largest win of the season on Tuesday afternoon, defeating the Garrett Lakers 17-1.
The Seahawks secured 11 hits and 15 walks, while allowing just one run on two hits and two walks to Garrett. Sloane Tanner grabbed two triples as part of a four-hit day to lead the offense. Gianna Dougherty (3-1) collected two hits and two RBI at the plate while also striking out nine Lakers from the circle.
Cecil now stands at 4-5 on the year.
