NORTH EAST - Cecil College softball scored a season high 20 runs, leading to another easy win for the Seahawks on Tuesday afternoon.
Cecil's 37 runs between the two doubleheaders are its most since the 2017 season, when the Seahawks won 28-1 and 30-0 in a twin bill against Montgomery. Cecil's 17 RBI in game two is also the program's highest amount since 2017.
Sloanne Tanner led the Seahawks with three hits and three RBI, while Gianna Dougherty collected two hits and drove in three. Tristian Canavan hit a grand slam and brough in another via walk for a team high five RBI.
The Seahawks are now 5-5 on the year.
