Three Seahawks Named to All-Region 20 Squad

NORTH EAST - Cecil College's Ronaldo King, Jannis Braun, and Izak Battle Jr. have been voted to the All-Region 20 Division 2 team, as annouced by region officials this week.

Ronaldo King | First Team

King had a historic 2024 season for the Seahawks, smashing Cecil's all-time goal scoring records for a single-season with 14 and a career at 20. The sophomore striker also owns Cecil's points record for a career (47) and a solo campaign (33). He scored 14 goals, made five assists, and tallied 33 points over 15 games. King makes history yet again by becoming the only player in Cecil's modern era of record keeping (2013-present) to be named All-Region 20 D2 First Team.

Jannis Braun | Second Team

A midfielder from Germany, Braun was a swiss army knife for the Seahawks. His 10 assists this season broke Cecil's single-season and career records. Braun scored five goals in 2024, including the game winner against CCBC-Catonsville back on Sept. 17. He is one four Seahawks to start and play in all 16 games this season.

Izak Battle Jr. | Honorable Mention

An Aberdeen, Maryland native, Battle Jr. finished second on the team in goals (13) and points (31). These numbers elevated him to second all-time and for a single-season in both categories. Battle Jr. led the team with 31 shots on goal and slotted home the winner in Cecil's opening night victory over Southern Maryland.
