NORTH EAST - Izak Battle Jr. scored twice and Jannis Braun recorded two assists, but the Seahawks fell 4-2 against Frederick on Tuesday afternoon.
Cecil looked to be off to the races when Battle Jr. scored on Braun's pass less than 120 seconds into the contest. After an even 25 minutes, Frederick tied the contest with its first goal. The Cougars struck again in the 37th, but Battle Jr. found the back of the net three minute later to tie the game.
Frederick was the better side over the final half, outshooting Cecil 21-13. The visitors scored in the 58th to take the lead and then found a fourth goal late in the second to put game out of reach for Cecil.
With the loss, the Seahawks drop to 4-5 (2-3 Region 20).
