CATONSVILLE - Cecil College men's soccer moved back to .500 on the season with a 3-2 win over CCBC-Catonsville on Tuesday evening.
The Seahawks and Cardinals each scored twice in the first half to put the game at 2-2 heading into halftime. Cecil broke the deadlock just seconds into the second half when Cecil was pulled down in box and awarded a penalty kick. Freshman Jannis Braun stepped up and easily finished the chance to put the Seahawks ahead.
Catonsville pushed over the next 10 minutes to tie the game, but Finnegan Tome and the Seahawks defense kept them at-bat. A red card in the 57th minute put the Cardinals down a man, but the hosts stayed agressive and challenged Tome several times. The freshman goalkeeper stepped up and made a pair of key saves down the stretch to hand Cecil the victory.
The Seahawks move to 2-2 (2-2 Region 20) with the victory.

- Chris Eichhammer scored Cecil's first goal of the contest
