NORTH EAST, Md. - Cecil men's soccer soundly defeated Penn State Schuylkill 6-1 on Tuesday afternoon at home.
The win marks the Seahawks largest margain of victory since 2016, when they defeated Allegany 5-0 to end the season. Their half-dozen goals sets Cecil's program record for the modern era (2014-present).
Freshman forward Ronaldo King led the charge on offense, scoring the first three goals for Cecil to earn a hattrick. A Nittany Lions goal in the 37th made it 3-1 heading into the break.
The Seahawks kept up the pace in the second half, scoring three goals over the final 45 minutes while also shutting out their four-year opposition.
Cecil's victory improves its record to 2-4-3.
