LA PLATA, Md. - Cecil men's soccer earned its first tie of the 2022 campaign, as the Seahawks finished in a 3-3 stalemate with the Southern Maryland (CSM) Hawks on Tuesday afternoon.
Cecil trailed 2-1 entering the half, but goals from Joaquin Saavedra and Ben Prest put the Seahawks ahead one with 25 minutes to go. An 89th minute score by CSM left the game at a draw.
After the tie, Cecil is now 1-9-1 on the year.
