CUMBERLAND - Cecil College men's basketball saw its eight-game winning streak come to a halt on Monday with a 98-85 loss to the Division 1 Allegany Trojans.
The Seahawks led by 10 at the half, but Allegany stormed back with 61 points in the final 20 minutes to rip the game away. The Trojans commandeered the glass, outrebounding Cecil 60-36. The Seahawks were also whistled for a season high 30 fouls.
Amir Hite led Cecil with a career high 16 points. Shaun Chandler and Jamariez Corley-Scott combined for 20 points off the bench.
The Seahawks are now 18-7 on the year.
