NORTH EAST - Cecil College men's basketball took down yet another Region 20 opponent, defeating the Anne Arundel Riverhawks 85-71 on Saturday afternoon.
The Seahawks led for all but 90 seconds of the contest. Sophomore forward Darrien Berrios Rivera posted 17 points to top Cecil. Jaiden Guy collected a 12-point, 15-rebound double-double along with a half-dozen assists.
Cecil is now 17-6 on the year.
Turning Point
The Seahawks ripped 13 points to start the second half, while Anne Arundel scored only two.
