Seahawks Sink Chesapeake with Big Second Half

WYE MILLS - Cecil College men's basketball nabbed its first win of 2025, defeating Region 20 opponent Chesapeake 90-75 on Wednesday.

The Seahawks trailed 35-18 midway through the first half, but closed on an 21-6 run entering the break. Cecil went on to score 51 points compaired to the Skipjacks' 34 in the final 20 minutes of the game.

Jermaine Goodwyn led the Seahawks with a career high 19 points. Jaiden Guy finished wih 17, six rebounds and five steals.

Cecil moves to 11-6 with the win.
