NORTH EAST - Cecil College men's basketball took the floor for the first time since Dec. 14, falling 89-75 to the defending Region 20 Division 2 champion Howard.
Jaiden Guy led the Seahawks with 24 points and nine rebounds. Jermaine Goodwyn produced 15 points and four assists.
The Seahawks dip to 10-5 on the year and 2-2 against R20 foes.
Turning Point
Cecil and Howard were neck-and-neck for most of the contest. The Dragons eventually opened up a 12-point lead thanks to an 12-2 scoring run late in the second half. The Seahawks turned the ball over three times and missed its only shot attempt during this stretch.
