Prince George's Community College
LARGO - Cecil College baseball scored 20 runs for the second time in a week, leading the Seahawks to a 20-7 triumph over the Prince George's Owls to close out Tuesday's doubleheader.
Cecil showed great patience at the dish and recorded a season high 18 walks. Asher Friedman topped all battesr with three hits, while Ethan Neff recorded a game high four RBI on two hits.
After neither team scored in the opening frame, the Seahawks would go on to plate 10 runs over the next two innings to move well ahead. Cecil scored one run more in the fourth and fifth, then blasted the Owls for eight in the sixth. Prince George's showed life and scored four in the bottom of the frame, but the Seahawks quelched the rally for a mercy rule victory.
The Seahwks are now 26-19 in 2025.
