Seahawks Trio Earn All-Region 20 D2 Honors

NORTH EAST, Md. - The Seahawks' Patrick O'Brien, Garrett Worthington, and Dylan Byler have been selected to the All-Region 20 Division 2 team.

Byler and O'Brien are named for the second time in their career, while Worthington lands on the list for the first time. O'Brien's first team selection is the second of his career, as he earned the honor back in 2021.

Patrick O'Brien | First Team | Sophomore | Catcher/Outfielder | Elkton, Md.

Led the Seahawks with a .416 batting average and 26 stolen bases
Collected 42 hits in 33 games
Earned a team high three triples
Posted 10 doubles and three home runs
Produced 12 multi-hit games

Garrett Worthington | Second Team | Sophomore | Outfielder/Catcher | New Providence, Pa.

Topped Cecil with 39 RBI, 11 doubles, and nine home runs
Finished tied for second amongst Seahawk batters with 45 hits
Tallied 15 multi-hit games
Named the Region 20 D2 Co-Player of the Month for April
Posted the second highest fielding percentage on the team (.986)

Dylan Byler | Honorable Mention | Sophomore | Infielder/Pitcher | Lampeter, Pa.

Registered a .408 batting average with 11 doubles
Lead the team with a .519 on-base percentage
Had 15 games with at least two hits
Struck out just five times in 103 at-bats, the fewest of any All-Region selection
Featured in six games from the mound, posting a 2-2 record with a 4.44 ERA and one save
