COLUMBIA, Md. - Cecil volleyball's win streak came to an end on Friday, as the Seahawks were bested by the Howard Dragons via 3-1 scoreline.

Cecil took control early and picked up a first set victory. However, Howard domianted set two to tie the contest. A back-and-forth third frame needed an extra point to decide it, but the Seahawks eventually fell 26-24. The Dragons dealt the final blow with a 25-18 victory in set four to seal the match in their favor.

Amanda Wagner led the Seahawks with 10 kills, while Lydia Davis recorded eight. The pair also combined for 28 digs. Skylar Klinglar recorded all 27 assists for Cecil and picked up nine digs. 

After the loss, Cecil falls to 6-3 (5-3 Region 20).
