Seahawks Face Defeat By Catamounts in Region XX Match-Up

Cecil College was defeated by WVU Potomac State College on Saturday in three sets to suffer their tenth loss of the season. The Seahawks played tough throughout each set, but were swept by the Catamounts.

The Catamounts of WVU Potomac State College took all three sets against the Seahawks 25-17, 25-15, 25-14. The Catamounts were led by Katey L'Heureux with 7 kills. Nicola Ganoe also added 6 kills and 5 digs in the match. In the loss, freshman Amanda Wagner led the way for the Seahawks with 9 digs in the match, while also adding 4 kills. Freshman Natalie Diamond also added 6 digs and 3 kills. Freshman hitter Lydia Davis led the way for the Seahawks with 10 kills.

Cecil College looks to get back into the win column when they travel to play Allegany College of Maryland on Tuesday, October 19th at 6:00 p.m.
