Cecil College women's soccer started their season with four shutout losses to four Maryland JUCO opponents, three of which are NJCAA Region XX DII foes. The Seahawks currenlty rank in last place out of seven teams in the region division standings.

The Seahawks opened their season with three of their toughest matches against Montgomery College, Anne Arundel Community College, and CCBC Essex, followed by College of Southern Maryland. In their first four contests, women's soccer has been outshot by their opponents 165-5 and is averaging 9.48 goals against per contest.

Sophomore defender Clara Cooper leads the squad with two shots on the year, with one hitting the mark on goal. Sophomore Megan O'Neal and freshmen Hannah Holderer and Sydney Wiggins recorded the Seahawks' remaining shots.

Freshman goal keeper and North East High School graduate, Julianne Thompson, has been steady in the cage while facing a heaping number of shots. She currently ranks 9th in all of NJCAA DI soccer in number of saves.
