NJCAA's 3rd Annual Welcome Back Week Features New Programs Throughout the Association

To gear up for the 2019-20 Welcome Back Week campaign, the 81st in the history of the association, the NJCAA will host its third annual Welcome Back Week – a social media-driven campaign to highlight the upcoming season.

This year's Welcome Back Week is scheduled for August 12-16. With a new feature each day involving member schools, student-athletes, staff, alumni, fans and all those associated with the NJCAA, past and present, are encouraged to participate via social media to show their excitement for the upcoming season using the #NJCAABack hashtag across all platforms.

Day One of Welcome Back Week showcases the newest member colleges of the association or all of the new programs that will be competing, during the 2019-20 season. Cecil College men's & women's cross country will join the Seahawks' repertoire of nine NJCAA-sponsored athletic programs and will compete in its inaugural season this fall. Pictured above from left to right – Daniel Mitzel, Evan Martin, Seth Edwards, Sean McGowan, and Gabriella Scramlin – are five members of Cecil College's cross country program that participated in their first team practice this morning.

Posts collected throughout each day will be contributed in a daily recap on the NJCAA website, www.njcaa.org. For a complete recap of last year's Welcome Back Week, visit: 2018 NJCAA Welcome Back Week
