NORTH EAST, Md. - A pair of late goals from the Howard stole a nail-bitter between the Dragons and Cecil on Thursday afternoon.

An even first 45 minutes saw the Region 20 rivals go into halftime scoreless.

Howard pounded the net out of the break, posting 24 shots and 12 shots on goal. Cecil goalkeeper Aidan Hayes kept the Seahawks in the mix for 85 minutes, making 10 second-half saves. The Dragons finally broke through with their first goal of the game with five minutes left, then scored again with just over a minute to play.
