Assistant coach, Michael Jerome, is currently in his second season with the men’s basketball program at Cecil College, helping them to a record of 24-12 and third place finish in the National Tournament during his first season. Mike previously coached one year with the women’s team during the 2017-2018 season before transferring to the men’s staff.

During the 2017-2018 season with the women’s team, Mike helped the team to a 23-7 overall record, the team’s first ever Region XX DII championship, and first ever trip to the National Tournament in Harrison, Arkansas. The 2017-2018 women’s basketball team produced two all-region selections as well as the NJCAA Region XX DII tournament most outstanding player.

Mike earned an Associate’s degree from Community College of Baltimore County, a Bachelor’s degree from University of Baltimore, and a Master’s degree in Communication Studies from Stevenson University. He currently works as the Director of Admissions at Cecil College in additional to his coaching position.
