Guy Named to All-Region 20 D2 Team

NORTH EAST - Cecil's Jaiden Guy has been voted to the All-Region 20 Division 2 team, as annouced by region officials on Friday.

Guy led the Seahawks with 4.5 assists per game and 2.0 steals per game. The freshman guard also finished second on the team with 13.2 points per game, scoring at least 10 points in 20 games and over 20 points in a half-dozen contests. He is the only Cecil player to record a triple-double this season, posting a 27-10-10 statline in a victory over Prince George's on Feb. 19.

A New Castle, Delaware native, Guy played his best basketball late in the season. He was rewarded for his effort by being named the Region 20 D2 Player of the Month in February. He averaged 16.3 points over nine games, scoring 11 or more points in eight of them. This included a career high 28 points in a victory over R20 D1 opponent Baltimore City.
