NORTH EAST - Cecil men's basketball wraped up its 2023-24 campaign with a 91-63 loss to the Montgomery Raptors on Wednesday afternoon.

The Seahawks honored six sophomores, including Deuce Bevins II, Keshawn Gardner, Jeremy Frock, Luke Moore, Chris Metevia, and Mikhail Falko.

Freshman Marcus Edmond led the team in scoring, pouring in 20 points on 8-of-12 shooting. Fellow frosh guard Shaun Chandler finished with nine points.

Cecil finishes the year with an 8-22 record.

Turning Point

The Seahawks took 13 fewer shots than Montgomery over the first half. The Raptors made 21 of their 45 attempts, while Cecil hit 13 of its 33 shots.
