Seahawks Comeback Falls Short at Dundalk

BALTIMORE - Cecil men's basketball nearly came away with a win on the road Wednesday night, falling 75-70 to the CCBC-Dundalk Lions.

Freshman guard Jaiden Guy led the Seahawks with 13 points and five assists. Deuce Bevins II just missed out on a double-double with eight points and 10 rebounds.

The Seahawks drop to 5-16 (1-6 Region 20) on the year.

Turning Point

A late backcourt violation handed the ball over to the Lions with 25 seconds to go. Cecil was forced to foul Dundalk on the next possession to stop the clock, and the home team knocked down both free throws to extend the lead. Two more late shot attempts by the Seahawks fell flat to end the game.
