NORTH EAST - Despite a strong performance from its bench, Cecil men's basketball fell on the wrong side of a 95-87 scoreline on Sunday afternoon against the Garrett Lakers.

The Seahawks received nice perfomances off the bench from Jermaine Goodwyn, Shaun Chandler, and Luke MooreThe Lakers relied heavily on Jhaiden Wilson, who dropped 34 points on the evening. 

Free throws seperated the two teams on the day, as Garrett took advantage of a 21-15 foul count by going 23-for-33 from the charity stripe. The Seahawks hit 14 of their 20 attempts.

Cecil dips to 3-7 (0-3 Region 20) on the year.

Turning Point

Jaiden Guy's layup at 12:54 in the second half cut Cecil's deficit to one basket. Garrett responded by scoring 10 straight points to push the Seahawks away for the rest of the game.
