Allegany Sneaks Past Cecil

CUMBERLAND, Md. - The Seahawks poor luck on the road continued Wednesday evening in an 84-82 loss to Allegany.

Cecil perfomed well in the first half and carried a five point advantage into the half. However, Allegany outscored the Seahawks by seven in the second half to come away with the victory. Dominick Carrington's late three as time expired cut the final deficit from five to two with 0.2 seconds left, but the Trojans escaped after a successful inbound to wind down the rest of the clock.

Frank Toney led Cecil with 20 points, while Marlon Lewis chucked in 17 points and nine rebounds.

The defeat plants the Seahawks at 13-11 on the season.
