Cecil Flustered by Fighting Owls

BEL AIR, Md. - Cecil's struggles away from home continued on Saturday, as the Seahawks fell 81-66 to the Harford Fighting Owls.

Harford got out to a scorching start in the first half, outscoring the Seahawks 41-25. Cecil shot a woeful 6-for-27 from the floor and missed all eight of its attempts from range in the first 20 minutes. The Seahawks managed to outscore the Fighting Owls by nine in the second half, but Harford's lead proved too much to overcome.

Jordan Strickland led Cecil's offense with 13 points. He also fell just short of a double-double with nine rebounds.

Cecil drops to 12-10 on the year after the defeat.

Turning Point

While Cecil struggled to hit shots, Harford collected 20 points on 7-of-14 shooting midway through the first. This led to a 33-12 advantage for the Fighting Owls after just 13 minutes of play.
