NORTH EAST, Md. - Cecil scored over 55 points in box halves, leading them to a 111-86 victory over the Anne Arundel Riverhawks.

Led by 17 points from N'Fari Benjamin, seven Seahawks wound up with at least 10 points. As a team, Cecil made over half of its shots from the floor (44-of-84).

The Seahawks defense was able to create some havoc in the half court, recording 15 steals and forcing 26 Anne Arundel turnovers. Cecil captalized on this with 31 points off of takeaways.

The win boosts Cecil to 8-5 on the year (4-1 MD JUCO).

Turning Point

Anne Arundel tied the game at 47-47 with 2:09 left in the first half, but Cecil went on to close out the opening period with an 8-0 run. The Riverhawks never made up the distance and trailed the rest of the way.
