Seahawks Drop Season Opener to Bobcats

BALTIMORE, Md. - The No. 6 Cecil Men's Basketball team dropped its first game of the season by two points, falling 73-71 to the Bryant & Stratton Bobcats on Saturday afternoon.

Dominick Carrington led Cecil with 17 points, while three additional Seahawks chipped in 11 points each.

Cecil had an early lead but the Bobcats tookover midway through the first and never trailed again. Cecil pulled within a basket on several occasions but could not surpass Bryant & Stratton.

The Seahawks fall to 0-1 on the season.
