The Cecil College men's basketball 23rd win of the season on Saturday after defeating CCBC Dundalk 91-68. The Seahawks had a control on the game since the jump and never looked back against the Lions.

The Lions were led by Murray Grant with a team high 16 points and 13 rebounds. Naasir Johnson added 13 points and 4 assists in the loss.

Sophomore forward Khalid Gates recorded 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 blocks in the win for the Seahawks. Sophomore guard Darell Johnson added another double–double in the win with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore forward Joshua Thomas contributed with 10 points off the bench while going five for five from the field.

Cecil College men's basketball team earned the #1 seed after going undefeated against region opponents and will host #8-seed CCBC Dundalk for a re-match in the NJCAA Region XX DII Tournament Quarterfinals on Tuesday, March 1st. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The winner of this game will advance to the semi-finals hosted by Garrett College.
