With a regular season conference title already in hand, the Harford Fighting Owls today defeated the Cecil Seahawks 71-62 to capture the Maryland Juco Conference Men's Basketball Tournament for the first time since 2015.
Harford's Martin Kelly Jr. was named tournament Most Valuable Player, scoring 17 in the championship and averaging 19.7 points per game for the three-day tournament.
Fighting Owl Malik Jones was also named to the All-Tournament team. He averaged 14.7 for the tournament and scored 16 against Cecil.
Cecil's Cornell Corbin and Greg Alexander were named to the All-Tournament team, averaging 13.3 and 15.3 points per game, respectively, for the tournament.
