The Cecil bats awoke from their slumber in the opener, dropping 17 runs on 12 hits for a decisive victory.

After the visitors shut out Cecil in the bottom of the fourth, Austin Keefer (S, 1) came out of the bullpen for the fifth and sat down Dundalk in order. Cecil's offense then proceeded to pin eight runs on the Lions, punctuated by a three-run homer from Kenny Scottborgh to end the game.
