NORTH EAST, Md. - After falling to CCBC-Catonsville midweek, the Seahawks returned the favor with a 13-4 rout of the Cardinals at home on Thursday.

Unlike Tuesday's bout, Cecil did not have an issue producing on offense. Their 18 hits and 43 at-bats mark new season highs in both categories. 

The Seahawks improve to 18-22 after the victory.

Key Moments

The Seahawks poured it on the visitors early, plating 10 runs inside the first three frames. This included a six-run third to break the game open.

Catonsville's only run during this faze would come via a solo home run with one out in the first.

The Cardinals scored one run in the fourth and two in the fifth, but saw both frames end via strikeout.

Rafael Solano (4-1) held Catonsville off the board over the final four innings, while the Seahawks added three more runs. Solano sat the visitors down in order in the ninth to grab the win.
