NORTH EAST, Md. - Cecil baseball dropped a makeup bout from March 25 against Anne Arundel, falling 9-7 to the Riverhawks Wednesday afternoon.

The two teams kept thing things close until the fifth, where Anne Arundel broke things open with a two-RBI single to left. This left Cecil down by three entering the sixth. Garrett Worthington tossed the deficit in the trash in the top of the frame, punching a ball over the left field wall for three runs to tie the game.
Anne Arundel would single twice in the sixth, knocking out Cecil reliever Jayden Meregildo (1-2). Nate Ewing stepped in and collected two straight outs, but a wild pitch moved both runners over one base. A single through the left side to the following batter plated two Riverhawks before the next batter was sat down.
Cecil's first two batters went down to start the seventh, but an error planted one runner on with two outs. However, the Riverhawks retired the next batter to come away the victors.
The Seahawks drop to 13-19 with the defeat.
