North East, MD - Cecil College sophomore first baseman/outfielder Joe Zirolli has been named to the Maryland Junior College All-Conference First Team. This is the second consecutive year Zirolli has been recognized by the conference coaches as a First Team member. Zirolli is one of the most feared hitter's not only in the conference but in the region as well. For the Season he hit 361 with 11 home-runs and 43 RBIs. Over his two years he hit 28 home-runs, with 98 RBIs' and a career average of 359. Joe will graduate from Cecil College on Sunday May 21st, he has signed with Division I Campbell University in North Carolina for this coming fall. He has been scouted by a host of Major League baseball teams, and is hopeful to be drafted in the upcoming June draft.
