NJCAA Announces 2018-2019 All-Academic Honors

On, July 2, 2019 the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) announced a new record of 6,656 student-athletes that earned a spot on one of the three NJCAA All-Academic teams, surpassing last year's total of 6,329 student-athletes.

Student-athletes are eligible to earn academic honors by achieving an overall GPA of 3.60 or higher. The criteria for the three All-Academic teams are listed below:

NJCAA All-Academic First Team: 4.00 GPA
NJCAA All-Academic Second Team: 3.80-3.99 GPA
NJCAA All-Academic Third Team: 3.60-3.79 GPA

Cecil College would like to recognize McKale Williams (First Team) of men's basketball, Connor Dulin (Second Team) and Paul Layton (Second Team) of men's baseball, and Jaycie Coates (Third Team) of women's volleyball for the outstanding performances in the classroom, in addition to their dedication in their respective sport.
