Student-Athlete Spotlight: Nicole Guy-Thomas

Learn more about Nicole Guy-Thomas, a sophomore guard, on the 2018 NJCAA Region XX DII Women's Basketball Championship team, in the latest Student-Athlete Spotlight. Nicole, a native of Baltimore, Md. and graduate of Towson High School in 2016, recorded 287 career points in her two years as a Seahawk, and helped the team to a 23-7 overall record and trip to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament in Harrison, Arkansas.

What are you studying at Cecil College?

I am currently studying Exercise Science.

What is your favorite spot on campus?

The basketball court is definitely my favorite spot on campus.

What is your favorite inspirational quote and who said it?

Who is your favorite professional athlete & why?

My favorite professional athlete is Lebron James because he is the best player to me, but he also does a lot for his community and inspires children and adults all over the world.

What is your favorite meal to eat?

Chicken nuggets and fries.

What is your favorite sports-related memory?

My favorite memory is becoming a Region Champion on our home court this past season.

What is one thing on your bucket list?

I want to visit Bora Bora and Dubai.

What is one word that describes you & why?

Chill, because I'm always chilling and minding my own business.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Somewhere with nice weather and a nice bank account.
