Mrs. Taylor Opperhauser, MS, LAT, ATC, enters her third year as the Head Athletic Trainer (AT) at Cecil College. During her first year at Cecil, Taylor played a role in recognizing the month of March as National Athletic Training Month in Cecil County. Taylor also assisted the administration with the development of various academic support services for student-athletes. Taylor earned her Bachelor's of Science degree from Towson Univeristy where she worked with the men's lacrosse, field hockey, baseball, women's basketball and football teams. She continued her education at West Virginia University, earning her Master's of Science degree while teaching undergraduate Athletic Training courses to students and maintaing a presence with student-athletes in the all of WVU's training facilities.

In addition to her duties in athletics, Taylor Minderlein is the coordinator for Cecil College's Fitness & Wellness Center (FWC). She is responsible for day-to-day operations of the FWC as well as supervising staff.

Taylor has been a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA), Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers' Association (MAATA), and Maryland Athletic Trainers' Association (MATA) since becoming a certified athletic trainer in 2014. When she is not working at Cecil College, Taylor provides additional AT coverage at various lacrosse camps/tournaments in Baltimore and southern Maryland.

Taylor is a native of Street, Md. and currently resides in Aberdeen, Md. with her husband, Stephen, and daughter, Colbie. In her free time, Taylor enjoys hiking, fishing, reading, do-it-yourself projects, and playing with her new puppy.
