Adam Fornwalt was named Assistant Director of Athletics & Sports Information in August of 2022. He will be responsible for assisting the Director of Athletics administer the nine NJCAA-sponsored athletic programs at Cecil, providing student-athletes with the academic support that meets their needs, and will take the lead managing all athletic communications.

Prior to Cecil, Fornwalt served as the Manager for Sports Information and Game Operations at Harford Community College for four years. He was the primary media contact while also handling sports information and game operations duties for all 13 NJCAA programs. Under his leadership, the department was named 2YSIDA Sports Information Department of the Month in November 2021.

Fornwalt came to Harford after two years at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia as an Athletic Communications Assistant. In that role, he assisted with 14 athletic teams. He also served as a personality for 90.9 the Light (WQLU), Liberty's campus radio station, winning four Associated Press of the Virginias awards for his work across three sports talk shows.

In May 2018, Fornwalt earned a Bachelor's degree in Sport Management from Liberty University after receiving an Associate's degree in Visual Communications from Cecil College in 2015. He is also a graduate of the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland, earning a certificate in Sport Broadcasting.
